JioStar has announced a strong lineup of sponsors for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, highlighting the growing commercial appeal of women’s cricket and increasing confidence among advertisers in the sport’s expanding audience base.
As the official broadcaster and streaming partner of the tournament, JioStar has brought together brands from diverse sectors, including technology, consumer goods, wellness, luxury, digital payments and sportswear, for one of the biggest events in women’s cricket.
Leading the sponsorship roster are Google Gemini, Herbalife, Havells and Parle Products, which have come on board as Co-Presenting Partners. Associate Partners include Google Pay, Rado and Campa Energy, while adidas has been named the Title Partner for the tournament’s pre-match and post-match live shows.
The tournament also marks several notable firsts for women’s cricket broadcasting in India. Adidas becomes the first global sportswear brand to partner with women’s cricket coverage on JioStar, while Swiss luxury watchmaker Rado enters the live cricket advertising space through the tournament. Campa Energy, one of the emerging brands in the beverage segment, has also chosen women’s cricket as a platform to build visibility and connect with consumers at scale.
Commenting on the development, Anup Govindan, Head of Sales – Sports at JioStar, said, “Brands now view women’s sport as a marketing and growth platform, and this shift can be attributed to Team India’s maiden ICC Women’s World Cup title in 2025. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup offers advertisers a unique opportunity to align with a property that combines elite competition and a rapidly expanding fan base.”
He added that the participation of brands that have never previously associated with women’s cricket reflects the increasing commercial strength of the ecosystem and signals a new phase of growth for the sport.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 begins on June 12, with hosts England taking on Sri Lanka in the opening match. India will start its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 14, a fixture expected to draw significant viewership from cricket fans across the globe.
All matches from the tournament will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network and streamed on JioHotstar, giving fans access to comprehensive coverage across television and digital platforms.
The strong advertiser response ahead of the tournament underscores how women’s cricket has evolved from a niche property into a mainstream sporting platform, attracting premium brands eager to engage with a rapidly growing and highly engaged audience.
