Kevin Vaz, CEO Entertainment, JioStar, was honoured with the prestigious Visionary Leader of the Year award at the XIIth BCS Ratna Award 2026, held at New Delhi.

The award recognised Kevin Vaz’s exceptional leadership and his significant contribution to India’s evolving media and entertainment landscape.

Organised by Aavishkar Media Group under the leadership of Dr. A.K. Rastogi, the XIIth BCS Ratna Awards celebrated excellence across broadcasting, cable TV, digital media, OTT and technology sectors.

Although Kevin Vaz could not attend the ceremony due to health reasons, he shared a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude for the honour.

In his message, Vaz thanked Dr. A.K. Rastogi, the Aavishkar Media leadership team, and the cable and distribution fraternity for recognising his contribution.

He said the award represents the strong and enduring partnership between JioStar and the cable and distribution community.

‘I see this honour to me as a reflection of JioStar’s enduring partnership with the cable and distribution community,’ Vaz said in his message.

He further added that the recognition means a great deal to him and thanked everyone associated with the awards for the honour.

The XIIth BCS Ratna Award 2026 brought together prominent leaders, broadcasters, media professionals and industry stakeholders, celebrating individuals and organisations that continue to shape India’s media and entertainment ecosystem.
