Amazon MX Player has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming original revenge drama ‘Ab Hoga Hisaab’, offering a glimpse into a high-stakes story of family, loyalty and survival set against the backdrop of Punjab. The series, produced by Arré Studio, is scheduled to premiere on June 18 and will stream for free exclusively on the platform.
According to an Amazon MX Player press release, the series revolves around two brothers, Bobby and Bunty Manocha, whose lives are turned upside down by a single life-altering incident. Anchored by the central question, “How Far Will You Go For Your Own?”, the drama explores themes of brotherhood, sacrifice and the pursuit of justice.
The show features an ensemble cast led by Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer Sheikh and Avinash Mishra, with Mouni Roy, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Harman Singha and Aasheema Vardaan playing key roles.
The trailer introduces Bobby Manocha, portrayed by Shaheer Sheikh, as an elder brother determined to build a better future for Bunty. Working tirelessly to send his younger brother abroad, Bobby believes he is helping Bunty achieve a dream life. However, their hopes are shattered when Bunty, played by Avinash Mishra, becomes entangled in a mysterious chain of disappearances.
The story takes a darker turn when Goldy, a powerful and influential figure played by Sanjay Kapoor, offers Bunty what appears to be a life-changing opportunity. Soon after, Bunty vanishes without a trace, joining a growing list of unexplained missing persons. As suspicion, deception and hidden agendas begin to surface, Bobby embarks on a desperate mission to uncover the truth and bring his brother back.
Speaking about the series, Amogh Dusad, Director and Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, said ‘Ab Hoga Hisaab’ combines a gripping narrative with strong performances and reflects the platform’s commitment to delivering stories that are rooted in Indian realities while resonating with audiences across the country.
Sanjay Kapoor, who plays Goldy, said he was drawn to the project because of its layered characters and emotionally charged relationships. He noted that the series explores personal bonds and human emotions in a relatable manner while maintaining an unpredictable storyline filled with twists and turns.
Shaheer Sheikh described Bobby as a character driven by unwavering loyalty and a deep sense of responsibility towards his family. He said the role’s emotional depth and determination to protect loved ones made the character particularly compelling.
Marking his streaming debut, Avinash Mishra said Bunty is a layered character with significant emotional depth. He added that the project holds special significance as both his first OTT venture and his first collaboration with Amazon MX Player.
