The third season of ‘XO, Kitty’ is set to return to screens this April, offering viewers a glimpse into the next chapter of Kitty Song Covey’s journey as she navigates love, friendships and life-changing decisions during her final year at school.
The romantic dramedy, a spinoff of Netflix’s popular ‘To All the Boys’ film trilogy, continues to follow the youngest Song Covey sister’s coming-of-age story.
According to a UNI report, the streaming platform has confirmed that the new season will debut on April 2, following the January 2025 launch of season two. The forthcoming instalment provides an early look at Kitty’s life as she returns to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS), where she plans to make the most of her senior year.
The series stars Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, who returns to KISS with a clear vision of her final year. As per the official synopsis, Kitty hopes to create meaningful memories with her friends, deepen her connection with her relatives in Korea and make important decisions about her future. She also aims to define her relationship with Min Ho once and for all. However, unexpected revelations disrupt her plans and relationships, pushing her to confront uncertainties and embrace unforeseen changes.
Season two of ‘XO, Kitty’ concluded with Kitty appearing ready to join her love interest Min Ho, played by Sang Heon Lee, on tour with his family, setting the stage for the developments in the upcoming season.
The series has been created by ‘To All the Boys’ author Jenny Han, who also serves as executive producer alongside season three showrunner Valentina Garza, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment and Bradley Gardner. The show is produced by Paramount TV Studios.
With its blend of romance, personal growth and youthful drama, the new season is expected to build on the popularity of the franchise while exploring Kitty’s evolving relationships and future choices.
