Punjabi cinema fans have reason to celebrate as Sargun Mehta and Ammy Virk are reuniting for a new film titled ‘Arrjantinaa’. The announcement was made on May 1, with Sargun sharing glimpses from the film’s muhurat shot on social media, confirming that the film will release in theatres on September 4, 2026.
According to an ANI report, the project marks another collaboration between the two actors, who have previously delivered popular Punjabi films like ‘Qismat’ and ‘Saunkan Saunkne’. Their on-screen chemistry has consistently resonated with audiences, making this reunion one of the most anticipated in the regional film industry.
While the makers have kept most details about the storyline and cast under wraps, the announcement alone has generated strong buzz among fans. Social media reactions poured in soon after the reveal, with many expressing excitement about seeing the duo together again in a full-fledged project.
The actors were last seen together in ‘Saunkan Saunkanay 2’, and their upcoming film is expected to build on their successful pairing. Backed by production houses Naad Studios and Dreamiyata Entertainment, led by Jatin Sethi along with Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, the film is already drawing attention within the Punjabi film circuit.
With a confirmed release date and a proven lead pair, ‘Arrjantinaa’ is shaping up to be a key release in Punjabi cinema later this year, as audiences await more details about the film in the coming months.
