Ashish Sehgal honoured with ‘Industry Maverick of the Year’ at 12th BCS Ratna Award

Ashish Sehgal, CEO of Times Network, was honoured with the prestigious ‘Industry Maverick of the Year’ Award at the 12th BCS Ratna Award.

On receiving the award, Ashish Sehgal thanked Dr. A.K. Rastogi and the BCS Ratna Award for the honour. He said the recognition was a proud moment and credited his father for teaching him the importance of hard work and dedication.

Sehgal emphasised the need for greater collaboration across the broadcasting industry, saying that stakeholders must come together to explore new opportunities and shape the sector’s future growth.

He also highlighted the growing impact of artificial intelligence, saying that the industry needs to come together and think about new ways to adapt to changing technology and ensure continued growth of the broadcasting sector.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
