Prime Video’s hit series ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ (TSITP) has grown from a book adaptation into a global pop-culture juggernaut. With its final season racing towards a much-anticipated finale on September 17, the series has set new benchmarks in fan engagement and brand collaborations, making it one of the most talked-about shows this year.
According to a Press note, the show’s cultural influence has spilled far beyond the screen. In India, even rival entertainment brands have joined the wave, with Netflix India and Sony Music India giving playful nods to the TSITP trend on their social media handles. Globally too, the series has inspired collaborations with names like Coach, Stanley, Olly Sleep Gummies, Coca-Cola, and Catbird, all of which have tapped into the viral “The Summer I…” trend that has been sweeping feeds worldwide.
The frenzy isn’t just about fan edits, Bollywood parallels, or endless team Conrad versus team Jeremiah debates—it’s about the way brands and audiences are uniting around the show’s central themes of love, longing, and nostalgia. With Episode 8 building towards an emotional crescendo, the final two episodes promise to leave a lasting mark on audiences well beyond the streaming space.
Led by showrunners Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka, the series stars Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Jackie Chung, and Rachel Blanchard. The final season is streaming exclusively on Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with new episodes dropping weekly until the grand finale on September 17.
