Actor Asa Germann, known for ‘Gen V’, has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming ‘X-Men’film. He will play the character Warren Worthington III, also known as Angel.
According to a PTI report from Los Angeles, which quotes a Deadline article on the issue, the film will be directed by Jake Schreier, who also directed Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’. Kevin Feige is producing the project.
Angel is a mutant character from the ‘X-Men’ comics who has large wings and the ability to fly. The character first appeared in the original ‘X-Men’ comic in 1963.

The new ‘X-Men’ film already has several other actors attached to key roles, including Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Maya Boyd as Storm, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister.
