Instagram launched the ‘new Notes’ feature, a new way to share your thoughts using only text and emojis, and Candid Stories, which allows users to capture what they are doing at the moment, are among the new features.
Another feature is Group Profiles, which allows users to share posts and stories in a dedicated, shared profile, among other things.
Notes are a new way to express yourself and keep up with what your friends are up to. Notes are short posts of up to 60 characters in length that only use text and emojis.
According to IANS, to leave a note, go to the top of your inbox, select the followers you follow back or people on your Close Friends list, and your note will appear at the top of their inbox for 24 hours. Replies to notes will arrive in your inbox as DMs.
“During testing, we discovered that people appreciated having a lightweight, simple way to share their thoughts and start conversations. Notes provide a casual and spontaneous way for people to express themselves and connect, from asking for recommendations to sharing what they’re up to. People enjoy posting Stories throughout the day, from highlights to mundane events. “We’re testing new features in Stories to help people share in more spontaneous, fun ways to help create even stronger connections with friends,” the company said in a statement.
