ZEE5 has unveiled the trailer of ‘Ghamasaan’, a gritty drama from Jio Studios and Golden Ratio Films. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, According to ZEE5 press release today, the film stars Arshad Warsi, Pratik Gandhi and Ishita Dutta in pivotal roles. ‘Ghamasaan’ will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on September 11, 2026.
Set in the Hindi heartland, the film explores power, politics, loyalty and survival. The trailer offers a glimpse into a world where the struggle for power goes beyond a conventional cop-versus-criminal conflict.
Arshad Warsi plays Maharaj, while Pratik Gandhi plays Aditya. Their face off develops into a high-stakes battle for control of an entire ecosystem shaped by power, politics, loyalty and survival.
The story focuses on morally complex characters, with no clear heroes or villains. It explores a world where people are forced to make difficult choices as they navigate power struggles and shifting loyalties.
Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, ‘Ghamasaan’ reflects his storytelling style, which is rooted in complex characters and realistic worlds where morality is often seen in shades of grey.
The film has also travelled through several film festivals, including the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, Cinevesture International Film Festival and Chicago South Asian Film Festival.
‘Ghamasaan’ is produced by Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios, along with Piiyush Singh, Abhayanand Singh, Saurabh Gupta and Ashwini Chaudhary of Golden Ratio Films. Miten Shah of Yaelstar Films is also a producer.
The film is part of ZEE5’s content slate that also includes ‘Sumo Didi’ and ‘Ikroop’. While ‘Sumo Didi’ is produced by Fresh Lime Productions and focuses on resilience and determination, ‘Ikroop’, from AAZ Films, stars Mithila Palkar and Gauahar Khan and explores survival and justice.‘Ghamasaan’ will stream exclusively on ZEE5 from September 11, 2026.
