Apple TV has released the trailer for its upcoming comedy series ‘Brothers’, starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
According to an Apple TV press release yesterday, the eight-episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV on September 23, 2026.
In ‘Brothers’, McConaughey and Harrelson play fictional versions of themselves. The story begins when Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, prompting him to take his family to Matthew’s ranch in Austin.
Things take an unexpected turn when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac, reveals a long-hidden family secret: Matthew and Woody might actually be brothers. While Woody starts investigating the truth, Matthew is also dealing with the possibility of running for governor of Texas.
The series combines comedy, friendship, family and fame, with the two friends caught in a chaotic situation as they try to uncover the truth about their possible connection.
The supporting cast includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe and Holland Taylor.
The first two episodes of ‘Brothers’ will premiere on September 23, followed by one new episode every Wednesday until November 4.
The series is created and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg, with McConaughey and Harrelson also serving as executive producers.
