Twitter is gearing up to challenge LinkedIn by introducing a job posting feature on its platform. This feature will enable verified organizations to post job listings on their profiles.
To facilitate this, Twitter has created an account called ‘@TwitterHiring’ on its microblogging platform. However, as of now, no tweets have been made from this account, IANS reported.
An app researcher named Nima Owji shared a screenshot of the upcoming feature, revealing that “Twitter Hiring” will allow verified organizations to import their job listings by connecting a supported ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or XML feed. By doing so, they can effortlessly add their job openings to Twitter.
The new feature will be available for verified organizations without any cost. It aims to help them attract top talent for their open positions by allowing them to post jobs directly on their company profiles. Organizations will have the option to add up to five job positions on their profiles.
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, had previously hinted at this feature in May of this year. In response to a user’s suggestion for a dating app called ‘Twinder,’ Musk mentioned the possibility of incorporating job postings as well.
Already, media company Workweek has gained access to the job posting feature. Its CEO, Adam Ryan, confirms that this feature is included in the Rs 82,300 per month Verified for Organizations plan.
