The Walt Disney Company and TikTok have announced a new global partnership to bring fan-created short-form content to Disney plus and provide creators with new opportunities to engage with audiences.
The Walt Disney Company press release yesterday, under the collaboration, which will initially launch in the US before expanding to other markets, selected TikTok creator videos inspired by Disney movies and shows will be available on both TikTok and Disney plus.
The partnership will feature fan content based on popular Disney brands, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, FX, and more. TikTok creators will get access to assets from Disney’s extensive library of films and series to create new content around the company’s iconic stories.
As part of the collaboration, Disney and TikTok will launch the Disney Creator Ambassador Program, which will support creators through rewards, increased visibility, exclusive events, and career development opportunities.
Disney said the partnership aims to strengthen fan communities and offer audiences new ways to connect with entertainment content. TikTok also highlighted the growing role of creators in shaping conversations around films and television shows.
The collaboration brings together Disney’s storytelling legacy and TikTok’s creator community to create more interactive experiences for fans worldwide.
