‘The Boys’, the blockbuster anti-superhero series, is gearing up for its final chapter with the fifth and last season set to premiere on Prime Video on April 8, 2026.
The streamer announced that fans will get the first two episodes on the launch day, followed by weekly releases until the finale drops on May 20, 2026.
According to a PTI report, the new season continues to build on the dark, twisted world that has made the show a global phenomenon.
The series, created by Erick Kripke, is based on the New York Times bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson and is known for its gritty, unfiltered take on what happens when superheroes misuse their power.
The upcoming season features familiar faces including Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone and Colby Minifie, all of whom return to bring the story to its dramatic conclusion.
Over the years, ‘The Boys’ has carved a space for itself with its unapologetic storytelling and the way it subverts the glossy superhero trope by placing its characters in a morally corrupt universe where power often leads to brutality.
With the series now concluding, anticipation has already begun to build among fans who have followed its journey since its debut.
Prime Video’s decision to release the final season over several weeks is expected to heighten engagement and sustain momentum as viewers prepare to say goodbye to one of the most talked-about shows in recent streaming history.
