Prime Video has confirmed that the fourth and final season of its widely loved series ‘Four More Shots Please!’ will premiere on December 19, bringing the journey of its spirited quartet to a close.
The announcement marks the beginning of the end for a show that has shaped conversations around modern womanhood and female friendships since its debut.
According to a PTI report, the final chapter reunites Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo in their iconic roles as Damini, Anjana, Umang and Siddhi.
Created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, the new season continues to explore the themes that made the series a cultural driver—friendship, freedom, vulnerability and resilience. This time, the four return with a pact that unexpectedly triggers a series of emotional upheavals, drama and life-altering decisions.
Prime Video said the show remains one of its most influential originals, with Nikhil Madhok, Director & Head of Originals, noting that Four More Shots Please! “sparked vital conversations, inspired countless viewers and pushed the boundaries of what female-led storytelling can be.” He added that its “unapologetic honesty and vibrant characters resonated not just in India but across the globe,” setting the stage for an emotionally powerful farewell.
Developed and written by Devika Bhagat, with dialogues by Ishita Moitra, the fourth season is directed by Arunima Sharma and Neha Parti Matiyani, and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications. The creators emphasised that the show was conceived to present women “not as they are expected to be, but as they truly are: wildly ambitious and fiercely loyal.” Rangita Pritish Nandy said watching the four protagonists evolve into generational icons has been one of the show’s greatest rewards, adding that this final season is “the crescendo of that journey.”
The upcoming season also brings back several familiar faces, including Prateik S M Patil, Milind Soman, Rajeev Siddhartha, Lisa Ray and Ankur Rathee. New additions—Dino Morea, Anasuya Sengupta and Kunaal Roy Kapur—are expected to add fresh layers to the unfolding narrative.
As the series prepares to bow out, ‘Four More Shots Please!’ closes a significant chapter in India’s streaming landscape—one that amplified female voices, challenged conventions and built a loyal global audience that grew with its four unapologetically complex women.
