S8UL has unveiled its complete competitive lineup across 12 titles for the upcoming Esports World Cup 2026, marking one of its most expansive campaigns yet. With a mix of international talent and strong Indian representation, the organisation is positioning itself for a significant run at the global event.
According to an S8UL press release, the team has strategically built its EWC 2026 campaign by combining proven international players with emerging and established Indian talent, ensuring representation across multiple titles on one of the biggest stages in global esports. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from July 6 to August 23, bringing together over 2,000 players from 200 clubs across more than 100 countries, competing for a record prize pool of $75 million (approximately Rs.711 crore).
S8UL will compete across a wide spectrum of gaming categories including mobile, PC, console, fighting games, racing, battle royale, and strategy titles. The organisation has retained its established rosters in Apex Legends, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), and MOBA Legends 5v5, while introducing fresh signings across several other titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone, EA Sports FC, Fortnite, Chess, and Trackmania, among others.
A key highlight of this year’s campaign is S8UL’s first-of-its-kind Talent Hunt Program dedicated to fighting games. Through this initiative, six Indian players have been identified to represent the organisation in titles like Fatal Fury, Street Fighter 6, and TEKKEN 8. These players will receive structured support including professional coaching, funded tournament participation, travel assistance, monthly stipends, and integration into S8UL’s broader content ecosystem—laying the groundwork for long-term development of Indian talent in the fighting games segment.
Commenting on the announcement, Naman Mathur, co-founder of S8UL, emphasised the scale and ambition behind the initiative. He noted that the Esports World Cup represents the highest level of competitive gaming today, and building a diverse roster across multiple titles reflects the organisation’s shift beyond a single game or region. He added that S8UL has focused on creating an environment where players feel supported and prepared to perform at the highest level, with the broader aim of making its community proud and reinforcing India’s place in global esports.
With a blend of returning champions, new international signings, and a clear emphasis on nurturing Indian talent, S8UL heads into EWC 2026 with a strong global outlook. The organisation’s multi-title presence and structured talent development approach underline its larger mission—to elevate India’s standing on the world esports stage while competing against the very best.
