Prime Video has launched JALLOSH, a new add-on subscription focused on Marathi entertainment. The service, offered by Everest Entertainment, will give Prime members access to Marathi films, nataks, devotional content, original programming and more.
According to a Prime Video press release from Mumbai today, JALLOSH will offer more than 260 Marathi movies and 50 iconic nataks. New releases and additional content will also be added to the service throughout the year.
The library includes popular Marathi films such as ‘Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy’, ‘Tukaram’, ‘Pawankhind’, ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Subhedar’, ‘Maharashtra Shaheer’, the ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai’ franchise, ‘Moraya’ and ‘Naach Ga Ghuma’.
Prime members can subscribe to JALLOSH through Prime Video at an introductory price of Rs 199 for the first year. The subscription will renew at Rs 399 per year after the first year.
Gaurav Bhasin, Head AVOD Business and Marketplace, Prime Video India, said JALLOSH will give customers more choices across Marathi films, originals, nataks and devotional programming. He also said JALLOSH joins Prime Video’s growing portfolio of more than 30 add-on subscriptions.
Sanjay Chhabria, Founder of Everest Entertainment and JALLOSH, said the service aims to bring Marathi cinema, theatre and cultural stories to audiences across India. He described the launch as an important step towards making JALLOSH a dedicated destination for Marathi entertainment.
Through its add-on subscriptions, Prime Video allows customers to manage multiple premium services from one platform. Users can browse content, manage subscriptions and billing, create a common watchlist and download content for offline viewing.
