Helmed by Anish N Surana, Ananta Productions is currently churning out over 1,000 minutes of content monthly, with its new line-up spanning genres like thriller, suspense, and family drama. This collaboration with Kuku TV — India’s largest microdrama platform — not only strengthens their production portfolio but also places them at the heart of a content segment poised for exponential growth.Kuku TV’s massive reach and platform-specific success make it a natural partner for Ananta.
The platform has played a key role in normalising micro-dramas in India, particularly among Tier 2 and Tier 3 audiences, where data consumption and smartphone accessibility are growing rapidly.
With more collaborations on the horizon, Ananta Productions is also in talks with other studios and OTT platforms to expand its micro-drama slate, eyeing a broader presence in the short-form content ecosystem.
