In a move aimed at bridging the gap between music streaming and live events, Amazon Music has announced a global collaboration with Bandsintown to integrate concert listings directly into artist profiles. The partnership is designed to make it easier for fans to move from listening to their favourite tracks to discovering and attending live shows.
According to an Amazon Music press release, the integration will allow concert listings from Bandsintown to automatically appear on artist pages across the platform worldwide. This means users browsing an artist’s music will now also see upcoming tour dates, with direct links guiding them to Bandsintown for ticket purchases, creating a seamless journey from streaming to live event discovery.
The feature is being rolled out globally and is expected to be fully available this spring across iOS and Android devices, covering all Amazon Music subscription tiers. With Bandsintown already connecting over 100 million registered concertgoers, the integration significantly expands visibility for artists, helping them promote tours more effectively and drive ticket sales.
For artists, the process is designed to be simple and automated. Once they connect their Amazon Music profile through Bandsintown for Artists, any new or updated events published on the platform will automatically sync across to Amazon Music. This not only reduces manual effort but also ensures real-time updates for fans exploring live music options.
Industry stakeholders beyond artists are also set to benefit. Venues, festivals, and promoters using Bandsintown Pro will have their events featured on Amazon Music, increasing discoverability across a broader digital audience. The collaboration strengthens Bandsintown’s position as a key data provider for live music listings across major global platforms.
Fabrice Sergent, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Bandsintown, said the integration reflects a simple idea—fans should be able to discover concerts as easily as they discover music. He noted that live performances remain a critical driver of an artist’s career, and making them more accessible to audiences can significantly boost engagement.
Karolina Joynathsing, Director of Business Development at Amazon Music, highlighted the growing importance of live experiences in deepening fan connections, adding that the partnership allows users to explore concerts alongside streaming, livestreams, and merchandise within a single ecosystem.
The announcement also builds on an earlier collaboration between the two companies, which introduced artist merchandise from Amazon Music onto the Bandsintown platform. With concert discovery now added to the mix, the partnership is evolving into a more comprehensive ecosystem that supports artists across streaming, commerce, and live performances.
As competition intensifies in the music streaming space, this integration signals a broader industry shift—where platforms are no longer just about listening, but about creating a complete fan experience that extends beyond the screen and into real-world engagement.
