NDTV has introduced a refreshed identity for NDTV India, marking a significant evolution of the brand with a renewed positioning anchored in the thought ‘Bharat Ka Vishwas’. The move reflects an effort to align the channel’s presentation and storytelling with the expectations of a more discerning and fast-evolving audience.
According to a press release, the revamp goes beyond a visual makeover, positioning itself as a deeper articulation of trust in a rapidly changing India. The transformation spans on-air presentation, digital platforms, and the overall visual grammar of the network, aiming to deliver a more contemporary, intuitive, and immersive news experience.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, NDTV, said the new look mirrors the changing pace of the country and the evolving nature of news consumption. He described ‘Bharat Ka Vishwas’ as more than a tagline, calling it a responsibility that reflects the trust millions place in the network and its commitment to uphold that credibility.
Rohit Vishwakarma, Managing Editor of NDTV India, noted that the redesign represents both reinvention and continuity. While introducing a fresh visual language, he said the channel remains rooted in the core values that have defined its journalism over the years, with trust continuing to be at the centre of its relationship with viewers.
From a brand perspective, Gaurav Barjatya, Marketing Head at NDTV, highlighted the importance of credibility in an era where misinformation is widespread. He said the campaign reinforces the network’s commitment to delivering accurate, balanced, and meaningful journalism, while strengthening the bond of trust with its audience.
Jofree Shimray, Creative Consultant, added that the redesign focuses on clarity, speed, and improved visual hierarchy. Elements such as typography and motion systems have been reworked to enhance readability and create a seamless experience across television and digital screens.
With this transformation, NDTV India is positioning itself for a new phase, combining modern presentation with its long-standing credibility. At a time when both attention and trust are under scrutiny, the channel’s refreshed identity signals a clear intent to stay relevant while remaining anchored in journalistic integrity.
