Netflix has announced that the third instalment of its popular anthology franchise ‘Lust Stories’ will premiere on the streaming platform on September 18.
According to a PTI report from Mumbai today, ‘Lust Stories 3’ will feature four short films, each directed by a different filmmaker. The four directors are Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj.
The new instalment will explore themes of love, lust, relationships and repressed desire. According to Netflix, the stories will present these subjects through deeply personal and contemporary perspectives.
The anthology has been produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. The project brings together four different filmmakers, with each short film offering its own take on relationships and human emotions.
‘Lust Stories 3’ features an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada.
The third instalment continues the ‘Lust Stories’ anthology franchise, which brings together multiple short films around themes related to relationships and desire. ‘Lust Stories 3’ will be available to stream on Netflix from September 18.
