Vijay Sethupathi is set to collaborate once again with acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam for a new project, marking their second association after the 2018 action-crime drama ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
According to a UNI report, the upcoming venture brings together two of Indian cinema’s most respected creative forces, generating strong anticipation among fans and industry observers alike.
While details about the storyline and production timeline remain under wraps, the collaboration is expected to showcase a fresh cinematic vision from the celebrated director-actor duo.
Known for his intense and versatile performances in films such as ‘Maharaja’ and ‘Super Deluxe’, Sethupathi spoke about his artistic philosophy in an interaction with Variety India, emphasising his belief in constant reinvention.
“Repetition is death for me. I will never do a sequel or a remake. Art unites the world. I am a small part of that world. I follow no strategy. I believe I have little control over what happens in my life. We control nothing in life. I never plan anything,” he said in the Variety interview.
