Prime Video has announced the complete cast of its upcoming English-language Italian Original film ‘Love Me Love Me’, an adaptation of the widely popular first novel from Stefania S.’s four-book series, which has amassed over 23 million reads on Wattpad.
The young adult romance will feature Mia Jenkins, Pepe Barroso Silva and Luca Melucci in lead roles, joined by Andrea Guo, Michelangelo Vizzini, Madior Fall and Vanessa Donghi.
According to the Prime Video press note, the film is being co-produced by Lotus Production, a Leone Film Group company, and Amazon MGM Studios, with additional support from Wattpad WEBTOON Studios. Directed by Roger Kumble and written by Veronica Galli and Serena Tateo, ‘Love Me Love Me’ is slated to stream globally on Prime Video in 2026. The newly shared cast image, captured by Simone Tadiello, provides a first look at the ensemble bringing this fan-favourite story to life.
The film follows June, a young woman who moves to Italy seeking a fresh start after the tragic loss of her brother. At her elite new school, she finds herself drawn to James, a charismatic but troubled boy who secretly participates in underground MMA fights. Despite her attraction, she begins dating his best friend, Will, the model honour student with a seemingly perfect life. As June spends more time within their world, she discovers that nothing is as it appears—each of them hides secrets that slowly unravel as emotions intensify.
Set against a backdrop of hidden truths, rising tension and conflicting desires, ‘Love Me Love Me’ explores themes of grief, identity, and the pull of forbidden connection. With its combination of a bestselling source material, a strong young cast, and a director known for shaping youth-focused dramas, the film is expected to resonate widely when it debuts in 2026.
