Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has officially announced the return of its much-anticipated accelerator program ‘Innovate On The Lot’ for 2025.
In collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and legal firm ArentFox Schiff, the initiative offers a unique platform for emerging technology companies in the media and entertainment space to build strategic partnerships directly with WBD’s leadership and innovation teams.
As per a press note, the program is designed to bring together forward-thinking startups and entrepreneurs developing solutions around key focus areas like IP protection and content moderation, marketing creation and distribution, and automated rights management. Applications are currently open on the official website, www.innovateonthelot.com, with a submission deadline of May 26, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
This year’s program will particularly seek out technologies aimed at tackling deepfake detection, asset adaptation for marketing, AI-driven personalization, social intelligence, performance optimization, and streamlining approvals processes—from brand guideline reviews to music clearance and localization compliance.
The four-day accelerator is scheduled to be held this June at the iconic Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. Selected participants will gain hands-on access to WBD’s business leaders through curated panels, networking sessions, and collaborative opportunities that aim to transform groundbreaking ideas into market-ready solutions for the entertainment industry.
The program is open globally, but companies from Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela are restricted from participating due to regulatory considerations.
WBD’s ‘Innovate On The Lot’ continues to build on its legacy of bridging creative tech with industry giants. With the backing of AWS’s cloud infrastructure and ArentFox Schiff’s legal guidance, the 2025 edition promises to serve as a springboard for companies that are ready to redefine the future of entertainment.
