The 24th edition of the prestigious EMVIE Awards, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, concluded on Friday, 22nd March, 2024.
Organized by The Advertising Club (TAC), the event celebrated outstanding media campaigns from top agencies, attracting more than 1000 professionals from the media, marketing, advertising, and research sectors.
With a record-breaking 1892 entries submitted by 35 agencies, the competition was fierce, with 471 entries shortlisted. The event saw the presentation of 1 Grand EMVIE, 44 Gold, 68 Silver, and 88 Bronze trophies to deserving winners.
Wavemaker India clinched the title of ‘The Best Media Agency of the Year’ with 665 points, while Mondelēz India Foods Pvt. Ltd. was crowned ‘The Best Media Client of the Year’ with 440 points. Wavemaker India also secured the Grand EMVIE for their innovative campaign for Mondelēz India Foods Pvt. Ltd.’s Cadbury Celebrations.
Other notable winners included Mindshare, which bagged the Diversity Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) award for Dove’s Stop The Beauty Test, and Rowena Rodrigues of Mindshare, who received the Young EMVIE of The Year award for Dove – Crafting Cannes-worthy Brilliance!
Rana Barua, Group CEO of Havas India, South East, and North Asia, and President of The Advertising Club, commended the exceptional quality of work displayed at the event, highlighting the industry’s consistent global standards.
Punitha Arumugam, Chairperson of the EMVIES Committee, expressed admiration for the innovative campaigns submitted, noting that each year, the bar for industry brilliance is raised higher.
The EMVIE Awards were powered by TV9 Network, co-powered by The Times of India, in association with UltraTech Cement, with category sponsors including Craving Digital, Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), and South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA).
