TV Today Network reported a consolidated net loss of Rs. 11 lakh for the third quarter ended December 2025, according to a PTI report citing the company’s regulatory filing.
The media company had posted a net profit of Rs.17.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, reflecting a sharp decline in profitability during the period under review.
The company’s revenue from operations also fell during the October–December quarter, impacted by subdued advertising demand and continued pressure on the television news segment. Advertising revenues remained weak amid cautious spending by advertisers, which affected overall earnings performance.
TV Today Network’s total expenses rose year-on-year, driven by higher operational and production costs, which further weighed on margins during the quarter. The increase in expenditure offset revenue generation and contributed to the company slipping into losses.
The broadcaster, which operates prominent news brands such as Aaj Tak and India Today, continues to face industry-wide headwinds including fluctuating ad spending and changing consumption patterns across television and digital platforms.
Despite short-term financial pressure, the company remains focused on strengthening its digital presence and maintaining its position in India’s competitive news broadcasting market.
