JioHotstar on March 12 unveiled the trailer of its upcoming action drama series ‘Muthu Alias Kaattaan’, headlined by Vijay Sethupathi. The series, which had earlier generated buzz with its intriguing teaser, is set to begin streaming on the platform from March 27.

In the newly released trailer, the narrative dives deeper into the mysterious story surrounding a severed head linked to the character of Muthu. The teaser had earlier shocked viewers with the striking image of the protagonist’s severed head, sparking curiosity online. The trailer now expands the storyline, presenting multiple perspectives from different characters who describe Muthu in sharply contrasting ways.

According to a PTI report, these layered accounts portray him either as a feared outlaw or a misunderstood hero, gradually building suspense around the circumstances that led to the gruesome discovery. As the story unfolds, the series explores the blurred line between myth and reality while piecing together the mystery of Muthu’s fate.

Apart from Sethupathi, the show also features a notable ensemble cast including Milind Soman, Sudev Nair and Muthukumar in key roles.

With its intense narrative and layered storytelling, ‘Muthu Alias Kaattaan’ promises a gripping drama that blends suspense and action as viewers uncover the truth behind the enigmatic character at the centre of the story when the series premieres on JioHotstar later this month.
