Manish Kalra, the Chief Business Officer for Global Markets at ZEE5, has stepped down from his position, marking the end of his tenure with India’s homegrown streaming platform. ZEE5 recently expanded Kalra’s responsibilities to include managing its business operations across international markets, underscoring his pivotal role in the platform’s global growth strategy.
According to the Storyboard18, Kalra’s resignation has prompted ZEE5 to appoint an internal leader to oversee his responsibilities. The transition signals a shift in leadership as the platform continues its efforts to expand its footprint in global markets.
Kalra joined ZEE5 in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience in online business and marketing. During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives to boost audience engagement, build strategic partnerships, and drive the platform’s expansion beyond Indian borders. His efforts aimed to position ZEE5 as a formidable player in the international streaming industry.
