Disney will host its first ‘D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event’ in Singapore from June 25-27, 2027, bringing together fans for three days of exclusive entertainment, celebrity appearances, first-look announcements and immersive experiences spanning Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+ and Hulu.
The event will have three nightly showcases featuring studio announcements, streaming content and a live music finale, Disney said in a statement yesterday.
The three-day event will feature a convention area with more than 15 immersive experiences, alongside character meet-and-greets, storytelling panels, interactive activities and opportunities to engage with creators and talent.
Disney said the event would bring the spirit of its flagship D23 celebration to Asia, with programming designed specifically for the region’s fan community.
The Premiere Stage will host three exclusive nightly showcases. The June 25 Studio Showcase will offer announcements, previously unseen footage and celebrity appearances from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and other properties.
The June 26 Disney+ Showcase will feature upcoming Korean and Japanese series, as well as new and returning global streaming titles, with appearances by Asian creators and celebrities.
The event will conclude on June 27 with ‘Disney Hits LIVE! at D23 Asia’, a concert featuring iconic Disney and Pixar songs performed by Broadway stars, accompanied by a live band, concert lighting and animation.
Other attractions include the Storytellers Stage, where creators and talent will discuss the making of films, series and experiences and Talent Central, offering character interactions and special appearances.
The event will also feature the D23 Marketplace, offering collectibles, apparel and accessories, alongside The Walt Disney Company Store, which will showcase D23 Asia-themed merchandise and select products usually exclusive to Disney employee stores.
Disney said some of these items would be made available to the public in Asia Pacific for the first time. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in late November.
