JioHotstar has promoted Sumedh Inje to the position of Director Product Revenue Strategy, as the streaming platform continues to strengthen its leadership team and focus on increasing revenue and content monetisation.
Sumedh has been associated with the company since the Disney Hotstar days. He joined as Manager Product Revenue Strategy, was later promoted to associate director, and has now taken on the role of director.
According to a Sumedh Inje’s LinkedIn post, during his time at the company, he has worked on key areas such as product revenue planning, pricing strategy, content monetisation, advertising revenue, and sponsorship planning. He also played an important role during the integration of Disney Hotstar and JioCinema.
Before joining the streaming industry, Sumedh worked with Spinny, Mahindra Group, and Novartis, where he gained experience in business strategy, analytics, and commercial operations.
In his new role, Sumedh will lead JioHotstar’s product revenue strategy, strengthen advertising monetisation, and support the platform’s commercial growth as it continues to expand its digital entertainment business.
