Hungama OTT ’25 content highlights commitment to viewers

Hungama OTT has strengthened its position in 2025 as one of the fastest-growing Hindi-speaking entertainment platforms, unveiling a slate packed with thrillers, crime dramas, psychological stories and bold, original narratives.

The platform continued to build on its identity of delivering diverse Indian storytelling ranging from small-town mysteries to high-society mind games while offering new talent, compelling performances and fresh voices throughout the year.

According to a press release from the streamer, the platform’s 2025 lineup showcased a strong mix of genres, beginning with ‘Personal Trainer’ in January. Set in Mumbai’s elite gym culture, the dark thriller follows Neha, played by Tinaa Dattaa, whose affair with her trainer spirals into a web of deception after his sudden death. The series sets the tone for the year with its themes of desire, betrayal and hidden motives.

February brought ‘Pati Patni Aur Padosan’, a psychological crime drama fronted by Yukti Kapoor. The story charts Pratibha’s growing obsession with her new neighbour, Sagarika, and the dangerous secrets that unravel as she tries to protect her family. In March, Hungama released two contrasting thrillers — ‘Kab Kyun Aur Kahan’, an investigative story digging into a series of brutal murders linked to a powerful businessman, and ‘Khadaan’, a haunting mining-village mystery starring Aly Goni as an inspector uncovering folklore and buried family secrets.

April saw the return of one of Hungama’s most-watched titles with ‘Hasratein 2’, which delves deeper into women’s identities, desires and untold emotional worlds through six compelling stories and an ensemble cast. In May, ‘Mona Ki Manohar Kahaniyan’ presented a tense psychological battle inside an interrogation room, where Srishty Rode’s Mona keeps both the police and the audience guessing.

June delivered two sharply different originals ‘Judwaa Jaal’, featuring Monalisa in a dual role at the centre of a murder investigation, and ‘Badass Begum’, a gritty crime drama about the rise of a formidable woman in Mumbai’s underworld led by Divyaa Agarwal. July shifted tone with ‘Rose Garden’, a mystery-romance set in a Punjabi village where two sisters and their mother face the fallout of long-buried secrets.

In August, ‘Let’s Play Blind’ entered the high-stakes world of elite gambling, exploring power and revenge through the journeys of three influential women. September’s ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’ tracked the transformation of Malti, a timid housewife who enters a dangerous double life in an attempt to save her husband. October’s ‘Yeh Hai Sanak’ unravelled forbidden attraction and betrayal with sharp emotional turns.

Closing the year, November brought ‘Dirty Scams’, an anthology of slick con stories led by strong female protagonists, followed by ‘Vinny Ki Kitaab’ in December, a small-town tale of betrayal and reinvention, where a woman’s private fantasies become public and ultimately push her into reclaiming her identity as a writer.

With its diverse lineup across genres, Hungama OTT’s 2025 slate reinforced the platform’s commitment to telling rooted, engaging stories that reflect the many layers of Indian audiences.
