The Esports World Cup 2026 week 2 has ended in Paris, with four teams winning championship titles in different esports games. LYON, Team Vitality, Dplus KIA and PVISION became champions in Free Fire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women’s International, League of Legends and Dota 2 respectively.

According to an Esports Federation press release today, In the Free Fire tournament, LYON delivered a record breaking performance to win the title. The team created history by recording the highest number of eliminations in EWC Free Fire history with 33 kills in one game.

LYON won the championship along with a $300,000 prize reward and a spot in the Free Fire Global Finals 2026. Player Benjamín ‘Gamezking’ Pérez was named the tournament’s MVP. Team Vitality won the first ever officially recognised MLBB Women’s International championship at EWC 2026. The team defeated Natus Vincere PH 4-2 in the final to lift the trophy.

Team Vitality also received a $150,000 prize reward, while player Viorelle ‘Vival’ Chen was awarded the MVP title .In the League of Legends competition, South Korean team Dplus KIA defeated home favourites Karmine Corp to become champions.

The team made an impressive run through the tournament and defeated several top teams before winning the final. Sin ‘Smash’ Guem-jae was named the MVP for his performance. In Dota 2, PVISION secured the championship after defeating Team BB 3-1 in the grand final.

The team showed strong form throughout the tournament and lost only three games during its title-winning journey. Evgeniy ‘Noticed’ Ignatenko won the MVP award.

After two weeks of the tournament, NAVI is leading the EWC Club Championship rankings with 1,750 points, followed by Team Vitality with 1,400 points. The competition will continue for the next five weeks, with teams fighting for the overall championship title.
