Hollywood actor Anne Hathaway has shared an update on Disney’s much awaited film ‘The Princess Diaries 3’. She said that the makers have found a new direction for the story and are now moving ahead with the project.
According to a PTI report, Anne Hathaway revealed that the team had to make changes to the film’s script and restart the writing process with a fresh approach. She said the makers recently had a breakthrough with the story and are now confident about the direction of the film.
Speaking on SiriusXM’s ‘Radio Andy’, Hathaway said, “We had a story breakthrough. We are moving in the right direction.” She added that while restarting the script was not the update fans were expecting, the team feels positive about the new version.
Hathaway is currently promoting her upcoming film ‘The Odyssey’. The actor became popular worldwide after playing Mia Thermopolis in the first two films of ‘The Princess Diaries’ franchise.
