BULLET Microdrama, the platform backed by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (Z), is expanding its content slate with more than 100 AI-powered microdramas, bringing together multiple production partners and its Trinetra AI filmmaking platform. The first title from the new slate, ‘Do Deewane aur Ashiqui’, has already gone live after being produced in 10 days.
According to a press release, the initiative is aimed at building a larger pipeline of short-form, vertical and creator-driven stories for mobile-first audiences. The move builds on BULLET Microdrama’s focus on scaling the microdrama format while giving creators greater flexibility to experiment with different narratives, genres and story worlds.
‘Do Deewane aur Ashiqui’ follows Aditya, a young man who develops a strong dislike for wealthy families after a powerful businessman causes his brother’s life to fall apart. His outlook changes when he falls in love with Ruhi, unaware that she is the daughter of the same businessman he holds responsible. As Ruhi keeps her identity hidden, their relationship deepens, but Aditya is eventually forced to choose between his love and the hatred he has long held towards the world she comes from.
To develop the wider slate of more than 100 titles, BULLET Microdrama has partnered with several creative and production agencies, including The Dosa Studios, The Filmy Musketeers Studio, FrameFry Studios, De Works Communications, SQB Pictures, Rajtaru Studio Limited and JVD Films. The partnership will involve developing microdramas end-to-end through BULLET’s Trinetra AI platform, which supports creators across different stages of the filmmaking process, from story development and visualisation to production.
Trinetra AI’s script intelligence arm, Trishul, evaluates scripts across more than 100 parameters to assess story strength and regional suitability. Rudra, its neural narrative generation engine, supports storyboarding, character and universe creation, shot breakdown and video generation. Its audio orchestration model, Damrooh, is designed to handle dialect-accurate dialogues and background music.
The upcoming slate will also explore story worlds and genres that can be complex or expensive to execute through conventional production methods. The titles include settings such as underwater and superhero universes, highlighting the range of creative possibilities that AI-enabled production can bring to short-form storytelling.
For a format that typically relies on 60 to 100 high-hook episodes, AI can help increase production speed and scale while allowing creators to experiment with new stories, worlds and formats. BULLET also sees the technology as a way to expand opportunities for AI artists and creative talent beyond traditional production hubs. The company has positioned AI as a complement to live-action production rather than a replacement for it.
Azim Lalani, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer, BULLET Microdrama, said AI is beginning to change the economics of content by influencing not only production costs but also how content decisions are made. He highlighted the opportunity to create a closer feedback loop between what is written, produced and ultimately received by audiences. According to Lalani, the approach could eventually influence how content is developed, portfolios are built, intellectual property is created and value is generated in the microdrama segment.
Saurabh Kushwah, Co-Founder and Chief Technology and Product Officer, BULLET Microdrama, said the current phase marks a shift in the role of AI from an individual creative tool to an intelligence layer across the filmmaking process. He described Trinetra AI as an indigenous, end-to-end AI-native filmmaking platform that brings story intelligence, visual creation and production into a single workflow. According to Kushwah, this allows creators to focus on key creative decisions while improving production speed, scale and efficiency.
With ‘Do Deewane aur Ashiqui’ marking the first release from the new slate, BULLET Microdrama plans to continue building its portfolio of more than 100 AI-powered microdramas by bringing together production partners, creators and Trinetra AI’s filmmaking capabilities. The initiative is expected to further expand the scale and creative possibilities of the growing microdrama format.
