The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has entered into an exclusive media rights partnership with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), covering all ACC tournaments from 2024 to 2031. The deal, marking a more than 70 percent increase in rights value from the previous cycle, underscores the surging popularity and global appeal of Asian cricket.
According to a press release, the landmark deal grants SPNI exclusive broadcasting rights across television, digital, and audio platforms. It encompasses premier tournaments, including:
• Men’s and Women’s Asia Cups
• Men’s and Women’s Under-19 Asia Cups
• Men’s and Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cups
The partnership aims to elevate the viewing experience for fans while enabling the ACC to invest in grassroots initiatives, infrastructure, and talent development, particularly in associate nations.
