The 33rd edition of Convergence India Expo and the 11th Smart Future Cities India Expo are set to take place from March 23–25, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, bringing together global technology leaders, policymakers and innovators to showcase the next wave of digital and urban transformation.
According to an official press release, the three-day event is being jointly organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation and Exhibitions India Group, with support from key government initiatives including IndiaAI Mission, Digital India and the Ministry of Electronics and IT. The expo is expected to host over 1,000 participants and attract more than 50,000 attendees from 25 countries.
This year’s edition will feature cutting-edge developments across sectors such as artificial intelligence, 6G, fintech, semiconductors, IoT, cybersecurity and smart mobility. Co-located events including AI Bharat, FinTech India, IoT India, Smart Mobility India and Startup Hub will further highlight emerging technologies shaping India’s digital economy.
Global technology companies such as Google, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Zoom are expected to participate alongside Indian and international industry leaders. Among the prominent speakers are Anil Kumar Lahoti, Abhishek Singh and global representatives including Sergey Cheremin.
Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said the platform continues to play a key role in advancing India’s digital and industrial ambitions, aligning with flagship initiatives such as Digital India, Make in India and the Smart Cities Mission. Abhishek Singh added that the expo will strengthen India’s position as a global technology partner by fostering collaboration across government, industry, academia and startups.
A key highlight this year is the participation of over 1,000 brands, including major names like Tesla, Qualcomm and Mahindra. Tesla is expected to showcase its latest innovations, including its Optimus humanoid robot, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent mobility.
The event will also see the debut of the SIAM Lab, a dedicated mobility innovation pavilion led by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, bringing together OEMs and technology leaders to explore next-generation automotive solutions.
In addition to enterprise and policy discussions, the expo will feature a Creator’s Session focused on the future of digital influence in the age of AI and algorithms, highlighting how content creators are adapting to rapidly evolving platforms.
Over the years, Convergence India Expo has evolved into one of the country’s most influential technology platforms, facilitating dialogue and collaboration across sectors. With a strong focus on innovation, scalability and global partnerships, the 2026 edition aims to further position India as a hub for cutting-edge technology and smart urban development.
