Devotional streaming platform Hari Om OTT is placing artificial intelligence at the centre of its filmmaking strategy following its acquisition by Bharat Next Gen Digital Pvt Ltd.
Founded by media entrepreneur Vibhu Agarwal, the platform has unveiled an AI-first content model aimed at transforming how devotional stories are developed and produced for both digital and theatrical audiences.
The platform plans to launch six original devotional series every year beginning in the upcoming financial cycle, while also expanding its film slate. The move signals a shift toward technology-driven storytelling, with artificial intelligence being integrated across the creative and production pipeline.
Unlike many studios that use AI mainly in post-production, Hari Om OTT says it has spent the last 14 months building a full 360-degree in-house AI ecosystem.
The studio already has several films in development and is targeting at least three theatrical releases in the coming financial year. Leading the upcoming slate is ‘Dronacharya’, which is scheduled for release in June 2026. Other projects in the pipeline include films based on ‘Khatushyam Ji’, ‘Salasar Balaji’ and ‘Rani Dadi Sati’. Additional titles currently under development will explore stories centred on ‘Agrasen Maharaj’ and ‘Chatthi Maiya’.
Kanhiya Mittal, director at Bharat Next Gen Digital, described the upcoming slate as the beginning of a new cinematic movement that blends traditional storytelling with advanced technology.
Backed by Bharat Next Gen Digital, Hari Om OTT is now positioning itself as a technology-forward devotional content studio.
