At the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, one of the most influential global gatherings of leaders and policymakers, the NDTV Network has unveiled Davos Sprint, a new editorial initiative aimed at reshaping how India engages with conversations that influence global priorities and collective futures.
According to a press release, the initiative has been introduced under NDTV Ignite and is positioned as a first-of-its-kind format on Indian television. Davos Sprint is built around short, sharply focused conversations designed to cut through the noise of expansive global dialogue and present viewers with clear, meaningful takeaways from Davos.
In contrast to the often protocol-heavy discussions that dominate international forums, Davos Sprint adopts a crisp editorial approach. Each session is carefully curated to distil complex ideas into accessible insights, highlighting what truly matters for decision-makers, business leaders and a discerning audience tracking global developments.
The conversations bring together a diverse mix of Indian and international voices, including Kinjaraapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India; Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales; AlphaGeo founder and CEO Parag Khanna; and Hippocratic AI co-founder and CEO Munjal Shah. The sessions span a wide range of themes, from India’s aviation and infrastructure ambitions to geopolitics, artificial intelligence, healthcare and the evolving nature of knowledge systems.
Rather than focusing only on what is changing globally, the discussions aim to examine why those changes matter and how they are likely to shape policy, leadership decisions and strategic thinking in business and geopolitics over time. The format is designed to offer both immediacy and depth in a rapidly shifting world.
Davos Sprint will be anchored by NDTV’s senior editorial leadership, with Senior Managing Editor Vishnu Som, Tech Editor Ayush Ailawadi and CEO and Editor-in-Chief Rahul Kanwal leading the conversations. Their role, the network says, is to bring editorial clarity and judgement to each sprint-style interaction.
Commenting on the initiative, Rahul Kanwal said that the real challenge at Davos is not access to ideas but discernment. He noted that Davos Sprint has been created around that principle, focusing on conversations that offer depth, relevance and perspective amid fast-changing global realities.
With this initiative, NDTV is positioning itself as a confident and contemporary Indian voice at Davos, reflecting the evolving nature of global discourse and the growing need for insight that is both timely and meaningful. Davos Sprint@NDTV Ignite will be showcased on NDTV 24×7 and NDTV Profit, and will go live from Davos on January 20, 2026, from 10.55 PM IST onwards.
