The trailer of ‘CO-ED’, a new family drama featuring real-life couple Varun Badola and Rajeshwari Sachdev, has been released, offering a light-hearted yet emotional glimpse into the world of teenagers navigating unexpected change.
The series also stars Vedant Sinha and Adrija Sinha, and is set against an engaging backdrop—an all-boys school and an all-girls school that merge after decades. What unfolds is a humorous and chaotic ride as young students collide with new experiences, budding crushes, and the inevitable confusion that follows a sudden cultural shift.
Sharing his experience, Varun Badola said in a statement, “CO-ED captures the chaos of teenage life, made even more intense when two sister schools merge and everyone is forced to adapt. What we love is how honestly it shows the parents’ parallel journey… Growing up is never just a teen story, it’s something parents live through too.”
Rajeshwari Sachdev echoed similar sentiments. “CO-ED beautifully captures that confusing, funny, and emotional phase of growing up, not just for the kids, but for the parents too. As a mother in the story, I could relate to the constant push and pull between wanting to protect your children and letting them find their own way,” she said.
Produced by Guneet Monga Kapoor, ‘CO-ED’ is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon MX Player on November 20. The show promises to blend humour with heartfelt family moments, spotlighting both the teenage and parental perspectives in a relatable, contemporary setting.
