Madhuri Dixit is gearing up to headline a new digital series titled ‘Mrs. Deshpande’, with her first look from the project unveiled on Wednesday. The striking visuals have already ignited excitement among fans, offering a glimpse of the actor in an intense and unfiltered avatar.
In the first look shared by JioHotstar, Madhuri is seen removing her makeup and jewellery, transitioning from her glamorous screen persona into a raw, bare-faced version of herself. The next frame adds a dramatic twist, revealing her seemingly behind bars—hinting that the series may explore darker, more gripping themes. Though the makers have kept the plot tightly under wraps, the brief glimpse has been enough to set social media abuzz, ANI reported.
Fans flooded the comments section with praise and anticipation. “Super ma’am, you are gorgeous,” wrote one user, while another commented, “Mrs. Deshpande is coming… and I’m already obsessed.” The intrigue surrounding Madhuri’s transformation, paired with the mysterious tone of the teaser, has amplified curiosity about the storyline.
The series is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Kukunoor Movies and is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor, marking another significant collaboration in the OTT space. ‘Mrs. Deshpande’ will stream soon on JioHotstar, though a release date is yet to be announced.
