After 20 days of electrifying action, the league stages of the OnePlus Android Battlegrounds Mobile India Challenger Series (BGCS) 2025 and the OnePlus Android Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) 2025 have concluded, paving the way for a blockbuster Playoffs round. Beginning September 9, the stage is set for India’s rising esports contenders to challenge seasoned BGMI pros in their pursuit of a Grand Finals berth.
According to NODWIN Gaming press release, the breakthrough moment for amateur players making their way into India’s most prestigious esports league.
In the BGCS 2025, 16 teams battled through the final week, with Nebula Esports — a squad that entered via the OnePlus Campus Dominate collegiate qualifiers — finishing at the top with 222 points. They were closely followed by Sinewy Esports with 213, Team Versatile with 201, and Team H4K with 163. These four teams now advance into the BGMS Playoffs, proving that the Challenger Series has successfully become a launchpad for fresh talent.
“With the introduction of BGCS this year, our aim was to create a structured pathway for emerging gamers to transition into the professional BGMI esports ecosystem,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming. “It is particularly encouraging to see a collegiate team topping the table, which validates the platform’s vision of nurturing the next generation of talent.”
Meanwhile, the BGMS 2025 league stage brought together 24 of India’s top BGMI teams, each playing 56 matches. Revenant XSpark led the leaderboard with 557 points, closely followed by SouL (551), Gods Reign (533), and NoNx Esports (529). The top four squads now move directly into the Grand Finals, scheduled from September 12 to 14.
The rest of the competition remains wide open. The bottom 12 teams from the BGMS League Stage will enter the Playoffs, where they will clash with the four BGCS qualifiers. From there, the top eight teams will progress to the Semi-Finals (September 10–11), joining the fifth to twelfth placed squads from the BGMS League Stage. The journey will culminate in the BGMS Grand Finals, where 16 teams will battle for supremacy and a share of the INR 1.5 crore prize pool.
Season 4 of BGMS continues to attract strong sponsorship support. OnePlus returns as Title Sponsor and Official Smartphone Partner, Android as Co-Title Sponsor, and TVS Motor Company marks its third consecutive year of association. Red Bull enters its second year, while Duolingo English Test, Swiggy, and Bisleri make their debut as Learning, Food Delivery, and Hydration Partners respectively.
The BGMS Season 4 Playoffs will be broadcast live on Star Sports Khel and JioHotstar from September 9–11, airing during prime-time between 5 pm and 8 pm. With this, BGMS retains its unique position as the only esports tournament in India with a national television presence.
