The upcoming India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will focus on 5G and 6G technologies and also discuss ways to connect communities such as farmers, MSMEs and school children, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said yesterday, while releasing AI-powered India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 app.
Scindia said around 1.5 lakh participants from 115 countries are expected to attend the IMC scheduled for October 8-11 here in New Delhi, a PTI report stated. According to the Minister, 30 ministries of the Centre will participate in IMC 2025.
“This (IMC) is not only a platform where we will discuss only 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, M2M, and so on and so forth, but it’s also a platform where we will be talking about how farmers, children in schools, MSMEs, etc. are connected and how society will find new opportunities and new hopes,” Scindia said.
“With the app launch today, we are trying to innovate ourselves and scale up the experience for all the audience and the participants in IMC. Our vision this year, which is to innovate and transform, is extremely important, considering the importance that the Prime Minister has attached to Aatmanirbharta…and propelling India towards victory by 2047,” the minister said.
Meanwhile, a government statement said also present on the occasion were Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Minister of State for Communications; Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Telecoms Secretary; Lt. Gen. Dr. S.P. Kochhar, Director General of COAI; P. Ramakrishna and India Mobile Congress CEO, apart from senior government officials and industry stalwarts.
The IMC 2025 app brings a suite of next-generation features designed to streamline access and supercharge the participant journey. The app will allow the users to live-stream sessions in real time, ensuring participants can engage from anywhere in the world.
A standout innovation in this year’s app is IMC Suggests, an AI-powered concierge that tailors recommendations based on user interests, suggesting sessions, networking opportunities and F&B zones to optimize engagement and comfort.
Featuring the new Snippet tool, IMC 2025 leverages artificial intelligence to curate and generate shareable short video highlights from popular sessions, enhancing the event’s reach and impact across social media platforms.
IMC 2025’s registrations for all participants, including delegates, startups, students, media and academia, are open now.
