The makers of ‘Ramayana’ have unveiled the first look poster of Yash, who features as Ravana in the film. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is produced by Namit Malhotra’s DNEG and Prime Focus Studios.
The poster, which featured the actor in a glittering golden crown embellished with gems, layered pearl necklaces and gold bracelets, was released on an Instagram handle on Saturday (Sept. 26) and was re-shared by Yash, a PTI report yesterday from New Delhi stated.
“Ravana,” read the caption of the post made by Yash.
The film has been mounted as an ambitious global-scale adaptation, with Oscar-winning filmmaker Hans Zimmer and Grammy-winning composer James Newton Howard attached to the music.
It also features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman alongside Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjihva, among others.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

MrBeast Joins Promo Event: Meanwhile, MrBeast got a taste of the ‘Ramayana’ fever when he joined Kapoor, Pallavi and the cast of Tiwari’s upcoming epic at a special event in Mumbai on Saturday, according to a NDTV report.
The YouTuber, who is the world’s most-subscribed individual creator, was among the guests at the pre-release gathering attended by select media and press members.
A video from the event has now caught attention online. In the clip, Kapoor is seen interacting with MrBeast and asking him to say “Jai Shri Ram”.
The YouTuber happily agreed and greeted the people around him, drawing loud cheers from those present, the NDTV report stated.
