Prime Video has announced that the second season of its reality show ‘Alliance’ will premiere on January 14. The show will return exclusively on Prime Video, with Kunal Kemmu as the host.
According to a Prime Video announcement from Mumbai today, ‘Alliance’ Season 2 will be produced by Banijay Asia. The new season will feature 16 new celebrity Allies who will compete in physical and mental challenges while forming alliances and making strategic decisions.
‘Alliance’ is the Indian adaptation of the Dutch format created by John de Mol and produced by Banijay Asia. In the first season, 16 celebrity Allies lived inside a mysterious headquarters run by ‘The System’, where they took part in physical and mental challenges and formed alliances.
The first season was hosted by Kunal Kemmu and was Prime Video’s first-ever daily reality series globally, with fresh episodes streaming every day at noon.
Season 2 will feature higher stakes, new twists and an evolved ‘System’ that will test the Allies in new ways. Kunal Kemmu will also return as the host for the new season. The show will stream exclusively on Prime Video from January 14.
