In a landmark development for India’s booming mobile gaming industry, Jio has partnered with KRAFTON India — publisher of the country’s most iconic battle royale title Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) — to unveil India’s first-ever dedicated gaming pack.
Priced at Rs.495 per month, the pack offers unmatched value for gamers, combining Jio’s cutting-edge 5G network with exclusive in-game rewards, and cloud gaming access under one recharge.
According to a KRAFTON India press release, the gaming pack reflects a shared vision between both companies to empower the next generation of Indian gamers. With over 200 million downloads, BGMI has become a digital cultural phenomenon. Speaking about the collaboration, Siddharth Merrotra, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at KRAFTON India, said, “At KRAFTON, our mission has always been to elevate and democratize gaming experiences for Indian players. This partnership with Jio is a strategic step towards unlocking the next generation of mobile-first gamers in our country.”
He added, “Jio’s unmatched digital infrastructure, combined with our immersive content, creates a powerful ecosystem where access, performance, and experience go hand in hand. Together, we are not just enabling gameplay, we are building the future of gaming in India.”
A Jio spokesperson echoed similar sentiments, stating that the gaming pack is designed to cater to the evolving needs of digital-first Indian youth. “Gaming is now an essential part of India’s digital lifestyle. With this pack, we are delivering more than just 5G speed. We are offering real value through cloud gaming, BGMI rewards, and JioGames subscriptions — all with a single recharge. This partnership with KRAFTON sets a new benchmark in digital entertainment,” the spokesperson said.
With the Jio Gaming Pack, users gain access to:
Exclusive BGMI in-game rewards including skins like the Bard’s Journey Set, Desert Taskforce Mask, and Tap Boom Molotov Cocktail.
JioGames Cloud subscription offering access to over 500 premium cloud-based game titles.
Seamless gameplay without needing downloads or consoles — playable across smartphones, Android TVs, Jio Set-Top Boxes, and browsers.
Activating the rewards is simple. Once users recharge with the Jio Gaming Pack, they receive a confirmation SMS and can claim unique BGMI reward codes via the MyJio app under the “Coupons & Winnings” section. These codes can then be redeemed at the official BGMI redemption portal by entering the player’s character ID and CAPTCHA.
To access cloud gaming, users need to download and open the JioGames app, log in with their Jio number, and begin playing instantly, as the subscription is automatically activated with the recharge.
The Jio Gaming Pack is now live for recharge via the MyJio app and Jio.com, offering a bold new gateway into India’s rapidly evolving gaming ecosystem. With this launch, Jio continues its mission to redefine connectivity and digital entertainment, bringing world-class gaming experiences to every corner of the country.
