The NDTV MPCG Emerging Business Conclave – Raipur Chapter brought together an influential gathering of entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders, marking a vibrant moment for Chhattisgarh’s economic and industrial journey.
Held in the heart of Raipur, the conclave showcased how the region is evolving into a central pillar of India’s transformative growth narrative, driven by vision, investment, and inclusive policies.
According to the official press release by NDTV, the Raipur edition is part of a larger series of regional business conclaves that aim to foster direct engagement between the private sector and government leadership across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The event further strengthens NDTV MPCG’s role as a catalyst for collaborative development and a credible forum where forward-thinking ideas are shared, refined, and acted upon.
Delivering the keynote address, Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao laid out a strong vision for balanced industrial growth. “We have reached a stage where we must envision what the future of Chhattisgarh should look like… We’re working to ensure that industries do not flourish in isolated pockets, but thrive across the entire state,” he remarked, underlining the state’s intent to democratize growth and opportunities.
He also offered a detailed overview of the new industrial policy being rolled out. “We undertook extensive groundwork to design Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, developing zones based on their specific capacities. We see immense potential in sectors like food processing and tourism, which we are actively converting into high-impact industries,” he stated, pointing to a well-thought-out plan that matches local strengths with national priorities.
In a strong message on law and order, the Deputy CM also reflected on the recent successes in internal security. “Operation Sindoor stands as one of independent India’s most precise and significant anti-terror operations—carried out deep inside hostile territory. Its impact has echoed across the world, marking a major success in our fight against terrorism,” he noted. He went on to highlight that the state has seen a sharp drop in security personnel casualties since 2023, crediting it to the focused efforts in dismantling Naxalism and restoring peace to regions like Bastar.
The conclave was enriched with insights from prominent voices including Dr. Arvind Tiwari of Dr. C.V. Raman University, Prakash Lohana of Astavinayak Realties, Dr. Ankit Thakral of Unity Hospital, Dr. Diwakar Pandey of Balco Medical Centre, and industrialist Sunil Ramdas Agrawal. Their experiences and perspectives added depth to the discussions, emphasizing grassroots challenges and scalable solutions.
As the conclave concluded, it reaffirmed NDTV MPCG’s growing stature as more than just a media initiative—it is fast becoming a vital bridge that connects industries with governance, business with policy, and ambition with action. With each regional chapter, the platform continues to spark dialogue, shape policy, and fuel a new wave of progress for India’s heartland.
