Bharti Airtel has rolled out a significant update to its mobile app, introducing support for multiple Indian languages and a suite of new features aimed at enhancing user experience.
In a press release issued by the company, Airtel said the refreshed app is part of its continued efforts to deepen digital engagement and make its platform more accessible and intuitive for users across India.
With this update, the Airtel Thanks app will now be available in 13 Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, and Assamese — a move that will benefit millions of regional language speakers who prefer navigating digital interfaces in their native tongue. The app will automatically prompt users to select their preferred language, making onboarding and usage more seamless than ever.
The update also brings a redesigned interface with smoother navigation, personalized offers on the home screen, and an improved recharge experience. Airtel has further streamlined services such as mobile bill payments, broadband recharges, DTH management, and customer care assistance to ensure they are more user-friendly and efficient.
In addition, the app now includes a ‘Help with a Call’ feature that lets users connect directly with a service representative in their chosen language — a highly requested addition from Airtel’s user base. There’s also tighter integration of Airtel’s rewards program, with easier redemption of coupons and cashback offers.
