Disney+ Hotstar, India’s official streaming partner of the Premier League 2024/25, is set to redefine sports viewing by streaming select matches in stunning 4K resolution.
For the first time in India, fans can enjoy the Premier League with unprecedented clarity and detail, bringing them closer to the action than ever before, the OTT platform said in a press release.
The new Premier League season, which kicked off on August 17 with a thrilling opener between Manchester United and Fulham, will feature over 100 matches streamed in 4K.
This enhanced experience will be available on 4K-enabled living room devices for Disney+ Hotstar’s premium subscribers via the English audio feed. Fans will now be able to enjoy some of the most exciting and competitive football matches with cutting-edge picture quality.
As the top tier of English football, the Premier League is known for its dynamic competition, with 20 clubs battling across 38 matches in the race for glory. With weekend and midweek fixtures, the league’s unpredictability keeps fans on the edge of their seats.
