WhatsApp introduces music sharing in video calls

WhatsApp, a globally popular messaging platform, is set to introduce groundbreaking features.

According to IANS, the forthcoming update will revolutionize video calls by allowing users to share music audio during their conversations.

This feature aims to bring an immersive and engaging dimension to both individual and group video calls. During a video call, when a participant shares their screen, the audio from their device will be transmitted to others in the call.

Notably, this feature extends beyond one-on-one calls, enriching group video conversations with synchronized audio experiences. It’s poised to facilitate synchronized video playback, potentially enabling virtual movie nights or collaborative content sharing among participants.

The rollout of this feature will be gradual, reaching Android users globally over the upcoming weeks.

Additionally, WhatsApp is working on a new privacy-oriented feature that will enable users to connect without sharing their phone numbers. This feature, anticipated in a future update of the web client, simplifies the process of finding and connecting with contacts on the platform.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
