It is extension time at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which yesterday gave more time to three consultation processes, including a pre-consultation paper on inputs for formulation of National Broadcasting Policy.
The last date of receiving comments from the stakeholders on the issues raised in the pre-consultation paper was fixed as October 10, but keeping in view the requests received from the stakeholders for extension of time for submission of comments, TRAI extended the deadline to October 31.
It also extended the time for submissions on a consultation paper on ‘Review of Quality-of-Service Standards for Access Services (Wireless and Wireline) and Broadband (Wireless and Wireline) Services’ to November 22 and counter comments to December 6.
The regulator also gave more time for the consultation paper on ‘Digital Inclusion in the Era of Emerging Technologies’
